The trio arrived at Wilmslow to a short road walk before joining the Bollin valley way following the meandering river bank where we saw a Heron, a black sheep and a dead sheep .
Oh and some cows with rather large horns but luckily they where more interested in chomping at the grass
We stopped for lunch at the River bridge that takes us in to the Mottram hall estate .
After passing through the estate and a golf course we had a miles walk along the streets of Mottram st Andrew ( very upmarket area ) before fields and a short road / lane walk bck to Wilmslow Stn .
Refreshment time let's play find the pub that's open despite websites saying open 3pubs we tryed were closed so it was bck to the Miller & carter for refreshment after a rather expensive beverage or two we caught the 1617 train to Crewe for our connecting service .
Good day with warm weather
A.Dulson
