Brownhills to Lichfield  5.5 miles 

Via old dissued railway mcclean way 

​

Depart new st 0945 (rugeley ) to cannock then bus to Brownhills.

Walk old track bed, muddy in places and ballast walking from chasewater onwards.

Arriving in Lichfield after a 10 min road walk from end of trail around 1-130.

Please note no lunch stop planned as the time we arrive in Lichfield there is plenty of options in Lichfield.

Return from Lichfield to new st every half hour

CHRISTMAS WALK​

Tuesday 16th December 

Stafford circular Via Stafford castle 5 miles 

​

Depart new st either 1031 /1034 to Stafford 

Walk does pass through housing estates at start and finish but passes through Duddas woods and a gradually climbs up to Stafford castle then descend via edge of golf course back in to Stafford plenty places for refreshments to celebrate the Christmas period .
