Attendees; P.Cotterill, M. Simmonds, J.Hickling, A. Sear, H. Jones, R. Jones, D. Mcdonnel, A.Dulson.

After a morning of continuous rain, we alighted at Alsager at 1230 for a group photo in our waterproofs. Before we had left the station, the rain stopped and we were dry for the rest of the day!

Plenty of mud saw us sliding around the Cheshire countryside. A bit of llama drama as we passed through a field with 2 llamas. Jason got the worst of it. We had a nedding lunch stop on a bridge over the railway. Saw a 350 EMU!

The last mile was along the trackbed of the old railway to Market Drayton.

We all enjoyed a drink in the Railway Inn, near the station. We were surprised to be joined by Mark Sadler, who may or may not have been following us at a safe distance.
