Wellington circular, via high ercall &Wrekin (7.5miles) 22/06/21

After meeting at Wellington station we proceeded through the town following paths under the M54 before entering high ercall woods

These woodlands paths took us to high ercall quarry where a drink break was taken .

We then reached the path up to the summit of the Wrekin with excellent views all around and had our lunch admiring those views

We then retraced a steps for abit before descending through woodlands with a few fallen tree obstacles and reaching a road then a stile on to the bank of Wrekin reservoir .

After leaving reservoir and losing Mark who was off on one of his wanders , we followed a road using forest paths adjacent to reach a bridge over the M54 before a road and paths through a park brought us back into Wellington

Mark did turn up eventually and also welcome to Janet Jones who joined the club today

Excellent weather made this walk all the better
