The walk started in bright sunshine following farm tracks and lanes to Wall after a look around the Roman ruins and museum
We walked up past Wall church and a few exclusive properties before taking lunch in the shade in pipe hall woodland trust area
Lunch was suppose to be on a single bench in the woodlands trust area but upon arrival bench had disappeared or so I thought till after our lunch stop we moved a bit further on and there behold was the bench
I had got wrong spot but there's wasn't too much groaning as the group wanted shade and the call to the local CID was avoided
We then passed by pipe hall farm where we met the donkeys and a couple dogs that weren't so pleased to see us
The video Mark put out showed the donkeys barking lol
We then did a road walk to enter
Pipe green nature reserve before crossing the busy A51 into beacon park and a short walk to our refreshment stop and meeting up with John Roberts.
Before having further refreshment in the bitter suite and seeing past walk club member Michelle Nicholson or whatever her married name is now!
Good replacement work due to rail strike which I think they all enjoyed.
A.Dulson
