We arrived in Malvern in bright sunny weather and a sort road walk took us on to Malvern common which we crossed to join a lane and woodland paths to Holywell well
We then descended a lane with old gas lamp posts in use and went to Edgar's grave and Little Malvern Priory.
The next part of the walk consisted of a lane a steep path through woodland where the path was now a stream so careful navigation of this was required with no fallers pleased to say .
Steep.paths took.us past a reservoir and to our drink stop at Sally's place a cafe at bottom of British camp
We had a surprise guest there Bill who some of you may remember him he lead a couple of walks for club Jason Hicklings cousin .
After refreshment and a catch up.with Bill we skirted the hills with great views before descending to Gardeners quarry and field paths too us to Colwall
We just missed the 1507 train so refreshments where taken at Colwall park hotel beer garden and the 1543/1607 were used to get home .
A.Dulson
