Alvechurch to Longbridge 5.5miles (02/06/22)

15 members plus two children disembarked at Alvechurch on this glorious sunny Platinum Jubilee day. This was a 5.5 mile walk that took us along Worcester canal. Paths took us on to Upper Bittell reservoir. It was here we stopped for a drink. Then the final section took us through Cofton park and on to Sainsburys where members grabbed some drinks for the Jubilee party. We began with a drink in the PnB bar before joining everyone else out on the street. Mr Kumar took over the kitchen to make his famous Indian patties with help from his glamorous assistant Hema. Members took part in a quiz while myself & Nicola took on the BBQ. It was a great afternoon that went on well into the night. Thank you all for making it a memorable day. GSTQ!
