Stoke to Tittensor 8 miles (21/08/23)

The walk started abit later than expected due to cancellations and delays Dave chambers even arrived by bus replacement service .

The walk started along the Trent &Mersey canal with its wall art before passing through Trentham estate and following a part of longton brook Greenway to reach the old gates of Trentham gardens .

After a quick look at Trentham mausoleum we had lunch at Trentham church before entering parts of the Trentham estate .

We followed some steep woodland paths through Kings wood and descended and ascended some steep steps before arriving at the Duke of Sutherland monument .

After admiring great views from the monument of Trentham gardens and Inthe distance mow cop

We took more woodland paths to Titensor where we got the bus to Stafford.
