Narborough circular 9 miles via Crosby ,Croft,Huncote (03/08/23)

A short walk from Narborough station took us into Littlethorpe and on to field paths into Crosby .

After walk through Crosby village we joined more fields to Croft where lunch was taken at Croft church .

After lunch a wooded path and a short steep walk took us to the trig point on croft hill with good views all around .

After descending croft hill paths and lanes took us through Huncote and on across fields and old railway line .

Roads took us into Narborough for refreshment and returned on the 1529 train .

The weather was dry and sunny and despite a fair bit of pavement walking the walkers seem to enjoy it
