The Walk commenced at 1045 from Leamington Spa Station, following the Grand Union Canal for approximately 2 miles to  Warwick, then after a bit of Roadwork, the route joined the Millennium Way north towards Kenilworth.

After all the recent rain, the paths were inevitably very muddy, and in a couple of places it was necessary to improvise a route to avoid some really bad patches, including having to Limbo dance under a tree which had fallen across the path since the recce!

Luckily the rain held off for the whole Walk apart from one brief shower early on, but even so by the end everyone had wet feet, and was very glad of the warm welcome in The Queen & Castle pub after quite an adventurous day!
