Attendees; P Bridges, L Bridges, P Cotterill, N Graham, J Hickling, G Jay, D McDonnell and D Peters (8 walkers).

We started the walk once leaving the station and headed through some fields of horses into the estate of Baddesley Clinton. A brief stop in the historic church of St.Michael's before continuing through Hay Wood which was slightly muddy from the previous days rain. We then continued through green fields and along country lanes, before arriving at the church of St.Laurence's in Rowington. We stopped here for a short lunch break before heading back down the Grand Union Canal to the end of the walk at The Navigation Inn. A further four members of the club joined us here for drinks M.Farkas, K.Maguire, H.Maguire and J.Roberts. The pub was a source of amusement with most of the hand pumps to pour the beer broken, with the bar staff franticly trying to rob parts of other pumps to get them working. After a few beers we headed back to the station and made our way home.

Dave Peters.
