We met Andy on the train to Duffield on arrival we walked through the village across a meadow and crossed bridges over the railway and river
We lost Phil who had stopped behind a tree then didn't realise we had gone onto the bridge and carried in under it so after that rescue mission .
We carried on across fields and some very narrow paths passing the old chimney and buildings of Peckwash paper mills before a short road walk and a steep path took us over the Rigga quarry and into Little Eaton
A pavement walk took us under the A38 where paths took us to Darley mills and a footbridge over the river to Darley park where lunch was taken on a couple benches .
Then rejoined the river path to the Silk Mill museum after a good 45 mins look around we then proceeded to various pubs for refreshment
Good weather no rain and a easy walk think everyone enjoyed ..
