Walkers present:A.Dulson M Sadler ,D.Chambers ,P.Grater,P.Bridges,P.Cotterill(6)

The walk started straight from railway station crossing over the river with the shopping trolleys cooling off in there after recent warm weather .

We went over a railway bridge and up paths toTapton house (home of George Stephenson. For a while)

We passed through Brimington and through woodland to Ringwood lake before a short road walk took us to our lunch stop at Hollingwood hub on the Chesterfield canal

After lunch the canal was our route back stopping at Tapton lock and it's cafe for a ice cream .

On arrival back at the station in bright sunny weather Paul Bridges left us to get train and rest of the group enjoyed a pint or two in a beer garden before the other Paul and Derby Dave left us for there train

Leaving the 3 of us that were staying over to enjoy further drinks throughout the evening
