​Caersws to Newtown, 8.6 miles (03/07/23)

Four of us set off in the rain but luckily it only lasted about 10 minutes. We had to navigate round a few fields of cows and the final herd with a Bull who was not impressed! Around 5 miles the rain started again and unfortunately as we'd changed direction it was now right in our faces.

We sheltered for lunch by a large fishing pond and just as we were ready to set off again, the sun made an appearance.

After the final assent we descended into Newtown and the Wetherspoons for refreshments.
