We met at premier inn at 1130 for taxi to Wye dale except Phil & Mary who got the bus to Millersdale
The walk started with a lane alongside the river Wye before steps took us on to the Monsal trail.
The Monsal trail was our route for most of the walk ,we stopped at millers dale old station cafe for lunch and took meet Phil & Mary we even managed to sit outside as weather was dry and sun out .
We passed through numerous tunnels and just after reaching Monsal head viaduct and one last tunnel we headed off through extremely muddy fields to Ashford in the water .
At Ashford we said goodbye to Hugh & Ros we caught the 1508 bus back to Buxton the rest of us carried on along a lane then a pavement walk of around a mile to the Thornbridge brewery tap .
We sampled a few beers then got the 5pm bus to premier in Buxton to check before we all had a very nice evening meal in the sun inn.

The walk started from the premier inn we followed steep muddy paths through woodland to Solomon's temple in very windy conditions .
After that we proceeded down skirting Anthony hill and through parts of the HSE testing centre before a steep lane walk took us on to Axe edge moor .
On crossing the moor we had mixed views and it did start to rain .
We managed to have lunch sitting on a stone wall before descending a stone path and passing through Plex farm and some woodland to reach a lane and on to the premier inn via the pavillion gardens .
We then met Andy sear & Glenys at the Buxton brewery tap house and then on to a curry in the Taj Mahal restaurant

The walk started from the premier Inn again following paths to Cowdale and onto king Sterndale .
Then a very steep slippery path good use of the walking poles used here we crossed a railway line to walk up Woo dale stopping for lunch on route .
After leaving Woo dale a couple of farmers tracks and fields took us to the Fairfield area if Buxton .
Pavement walk took us past the Buxton Wetherspoons where we said goodbye to Phil & Mary then on to the premier Inn and onward journey home
Weather was good today and think been lucky last few days could been alot worse .
Think everyone enjoyed Buxton and maybe a another visit in the future required as plenty of walks
