Attendees; A Sear P Cotterill J Hickling P Jones N Graham D McDonnell D Thomas D Peters D Chambers. A hastily arranged walk that had not been recced nevertheless attracted a total of nine walkers. It was good to see a new face, Dave Thomas, long time member but his first walk with the club. Additionally the weather forecast was not good and it had rained the previous day . So then we were in for a soggy day. Heading south after passing through Albrighton the walk was a mix of lanes and fields. While there was mud at no point did our progress become impassable. Just before the halfway point we took a break in some woods. It was after this that the rain came down, and probably lasted for about half an hour or so. After a short stretch of road walking we turned into more woodland then open fields. The walk had taken around three hours. Refreshments were taken in the Harp hotel a Blackcountry ales pub.
