11 of us met at a very wet Cannock station before proceding up to the bus stop to catch the 1041 bus to Brownhills .
The bus turned up a few minutes late with a driver who got out the wrong side of bed
Firstly the bus destination said Train replacement service on front on boarding I asked if it was Brownhills bus he looked at me as though he never heard of Brownhills
So then I said number 3 bus he said yeah and then grumbled when I presented my bus day ticket.
Karl then annoyed him further by head butting his wind mirror then he nearly missed our getting off stop as bell didn't seem to be working .
After the ordeal of the bus we met Andy Walton and Dale in Brownhills
We walked the length of McClean way with muddy section then ballast passing various old railway infrastructure.
Then a short pavement walk took us to the Bridge tavern for refreshments meeting up with Lee Brown and john Roberts.
A recently opened footpath which was good for a December walk and the weather was better than expected.
Tim Mulrennan joined the club after his 3rd walk welcome Tim.
