WESTON (staffs) To STONE (8 Miles) via Sandon estate & Trent Mersey canal 04/03/20

We here expecting the fields to be extremely muddy after the recent weather but the canal turned out to be the worst with very heavy going muddy towpath and for the last hour it also rained.

We arrived at Stone at 2pm for some excellent refreshment at a couple of pubs before our train back
